Job Purpose:
To provide quotations in response to customers’ Request For Quotations (RFQs) to secure new orders to increase overall business results
Principal Accountabilities:
1. Liaise with suppliers to get cost prices to address sales enquiries.
2. Calculate resale quote prices in accordance with gross margin guidelines from respective product marketing managers.
3. Provide resale quote prices to sales in timely manner.
4. Perform monthly analysis to measure suppliers & customers responsiveness and hit-rate for improvement to drive business growth.
5. Prepare monthly sales enquiries summary reports and send to sales for follow-up to secure new orders.
6. Support inside Sales for SG & Malaysia; if needed
Requirements:
1. Diploma in Business / Economics / Statistics
2. Min. 2 years sales &/or marketing-related function in electronic components industry required.
3. Experience in sales pricing/quotation & data analysis required.
4. Experience in price negotiations preferred.
5. Experience in Customer Service will be advantageous
6. Meticulous with keen eye for details.
7. Good communication & interpersonal skills.
8. Positive attitude and able to work under time-line pressure.
9. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & Access)
